Weiss was a resident of Minneapolis and GOP candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1950's special election and in 1952.

Herwig was a resident of Minneapolis, public relations agent for the publication Minnesota State Employee, and candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1948.

Vandenover was a milling executive from Minneapolis.

Van Auken was a salesman from Robbinsdale, candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1954 and 1956, candidate for HD 36 in 1960, and candidate for HD 29 in 1962.
