King was a state soldier welfare agent from St. Paul and former state commander of the American Legion.
Teigan was a resident of Minneapolis and editor of the Farmer-Labor Press Service. He was also a state Senator (SD 29, 1933-1935), U.S. Representative (CD 03, 1937-1939), Farmer-Labor nominee for an at-large U.S. House seat in 1932 and candidate for HD 29 in December 1932's special election.
Loeffler was a resident of Albert Lea, Democratic candidate Secretary of State in 1920 and for the 1st CD in 1924.
