Notes: Allers was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison in 1953 for armed robbery of a Minneapolis liquor store. In 1957, Allers was convicted of burglarizing a Minneapolis drug store while on parole for his armed robbery sentence. In June 1980, Allers was appointed by Al Quie to the state Board of Judicial Standards. He had not yet been confirmed at the time of his HD37 DFL primary defeat.
