Notes: Adrich was appointed Receiver at the United States Land Office in Dixon in 1849 and served until 1853. Aldrich was the Whig nominee for Illinois 2nd CD in 1852 and lost by 6.8 points to Democratic incumbent John Wentworth. Aldrich moved to Minneapolis in 1854. Near the end of his life he was appointed postmaster of Minneapolis (1867-1871).
