Notes: | Note: Dight's year of birth is listed as 1856 on his U.S. Passport Application and in the 1900 U.S. Cenus. It is listed as 1857 in his obituary. Dight was the first president of the Minnesota Eugenics Society. He taught medicine in Syria, the University of Michigan, Tulane University, Hamline University, and the University of Minnesota. In the early 1920s, Dight built a four-room tree house with a porch in the oak tress on his property where he was known as Minneapolis' only tree dweller. |
