Notes: Hall came to Minnesota with his parents in 1856. Hall was Speaker of the Minnesota House from 1872 to 1874. Hall moved to Knapp, Wisconsin in 1890 where he was first elected to the State Assembly in 1890. He was an ally of Robert La Follette and a progressive Republican.
