Horner was a public relations firm executive from Edina; Mulder was the former Executive Director of the Association of Minnesota Counties from St. Paul.
Hahn was a publisher and author from St. Paul; Harens was a former DFL state Representative (HD 65B, 1981-1983) from St. Paul and presidential nominee for the Christian Freedom Party in 2004.
Uldrich was a business executive from Minneapolis, Republican nominee for the 5th CD in 1996, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in 2006, and Independence candidate for U.S. Senate in 2008; Williams was a farmer from Austin and Independence Party U.S. Senate candidate in 2006 and 2008.
