Peterson was a resident of Proctor, nominee for HD 59 in 1924, and Farmer-Labor nominee for an at-large U.S. House seat in 1932.

Justesen was a resident of Askov and Democratic nominee for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1932.
