Notes: Seeger came to the United States in 1852 and moved to Minnesota in 1856. He served as Deputy State Treasurer from 1867 to 1871. Seeger resigned from the office of State Treasurer under scandal in March 1873 after being impeached for embezzelment of state funds by the House of Representatives, but before the trial in the Senate.
