Notes: | Johnson was the first woman to appear on a primary or general election ballot for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner and the only woman in the state to be nominated for the office. Johnson ran for SD 57 in 1934 from Duluth and for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1944 from St. Paul. She was executive secretary of the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Association from 1940 to 1944. |
