Heinrich was a resident of Minnetonka and former City Manager of Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, and Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
Koenig was a media consultant from Deerwood, the Independent-Republican nominee for Secretary of State in 1986, an Independent-Republican candidate for Auditor in 1994, the Independence Party nominee for the SD 16 special election in December 1994, a Republican candidate for SD 12 in 1996, and a Republican candidate for Secretary of State in 1998. Following his 1986 campaign for Secretary of State, Koenig pled guilty to a misdeamor charge for co-mingling campaign funds and the Ethical Practices Board delivered fines against him for two political action committee violations.
Jenson was a resident of Minneapolis, private investigator, Independent-Republican candidate for SD 62 in 1982, candidate for Mayor of Minneapolis in 1985 and 1989, and Independent-Republican candidate for Treasurer in 1986.
Hollender was an attorney from Minneapolis and former Treasurer of the Minnesota Commission on Small Business (1981-1989).
Lere was an accountant from Shorewood and DFL candidate for HD 08B in 1996.
