Associate Justice Yetka was appointed to the Court by Wendell Anderson on July 3, 1973 due to a constitutional amendment that increased the size of the Court from seven to nine members. Yetka was an attorney from Roseville, former state Representative (HD 54, 1951-1961), former special Municipal Judge in Cloquet (1961-1964), and former Cloquet City Attorney (1964-1973).
Flanery was an attorney from Minneapolis.
