Associate Justice Rogosheske was appointed to the Court by Governor Elmer Andersen on February 1, 1962 to fill the vacancy after Associate Justice Oscar Knutson was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on January 27, 1962. Rogosheske was an attorney from LIttle Falls, sitting Seventh Judicial District Judge, and former state Representative (HD 45, 1943, 1945-1949). He was elected without opposition.
