Secretary of State Holm was reelected to his 11th of 16 terms. Heller was a businessman and banker from Madison Lake and former Mankato city Treasurer.
Haley was a resident of Minneapolis, involved in newspaper, radio, and public relations, and also the Democratic nominee for Secretary of State in 1942.
Jorgenson was a resident of Askov and nominated by the state Communist Party at the state convention in June. She ran a sticker campaign.
