Burnquist was a former two-term state Representative (1909-1913), twice-elected lieutenant governor (1913-1915), and three-term governor (1915-1921).

Wilson, a Stillwater attorney and an assistant attorney general since 1925, later served as Minnesota's Commissioner of Conservation from 1943 to 1955.

Anderson was an attorney in St. Paul.
