Hilton became the first Minnesotan to win four general elections in the race for attorney general.
Sullivan, a St. Paul attorney, lost his second general election for the office, also falling short as an independent candidate in 1920.
Bell was an attorney from Detroit Lakes and future state Senator (SD 63, 1931-1935).
