Devine was a resident of Albert Lea and cashier at the Freeborn County State Bank.
Simonson was a resident of Duluth, Prohibition nominee for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1910 and HD 49 in 1912, and National Party nominee for Treasurer in 1918.
