Rines was a resident of Mora, former Kanabec County Auditor (1894-1904), former state Representative (HD 32, 1907-1915; HD 55, 1943-1947), former House Speaker (1913-1915), and publisher of the Kanabec County Times.
Johnson was a resident of Austin, former teacher, former secretary of the Farmers' Co-Operative Grain Dealers' Association of Minnesota, former Mower County Auditor, secretary and treasurer of the Home Investment Company in Austin, and candidate for Treasurer in 1914.
Schwarg was a farmer from Dodge Center, former Dodge Center Clerk of Court (1886-1898), and former state Representative (HD 07, 1901-1903).
