Lieutenant Governor Burnquist was renominated in his campaign for a second term.
Steenerson was a progressive Republican, former postmaster from Crookson, and candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1916. He was the brother of 9th CD Congressman Halvor Steenerson.
