Bergheim was an attorney from Little Falls, secretary of the Morrison County Democratic Committee, and Democratic nominee for HD 48 in 1906.
Kalnes was an editor and publisher from Starbuck.
Lewis was a resident of Nashwauk. Lewis was originally the Progressive nominee for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner, but replaced Duluth attorney John Saari as the party's nominee for Secretary of State.
