Schmahl won his fourth consecutive GOP nomination - most in party history.
Mattson was a former county superintendent of schools, involved in real estate, and a state Representative from Roseau (HD 63, 1909-1913).
Ege was a resident of Minneapolis, former Hennepin County Sheriff, and Sergeant-At-Arms of the State Senate (1907-1915).
