Clerk of the Supreme Court Reese lost his renomination bid at the state convention.

Pidgeon was a resident of Buffalo and Wright County Attorney.

Jones was a resident of Luverne, law student, and orator. At 25 years of age, Jones was the youngest nominee ever placed on a state ticket in Minnesota. He was the Democratic 2nd CD nominee in 1904.

Imsdahl was the Marshall County Deputy Register of Deeds. He was also a former three-term Register of Deeds for Marshall County on the Alliance ticket and Interior Department claimant agent for 13 years, organizer of the People's Party, and People's nominee for SD 63 in 1898.
