Notes: | Swisshelm moved to Minnesota in 1857 locating at Saint Cloud. Swisshlem was a famous abolitionist and journalist and founded the The Saint Cloud Visitor. She was the first documented woman to receive a vote for governor in Minnesota, receiving one write-in vote in 1861. |
