Notes: | Green came to Minnesota in 1853 locating at Saint Anthony. He moved to St. Peter in 1857 and published the Traverse Des Sioux Reporter and then the Minnesota Statesman. Green moved to Le Sueur in 1864. Over the years he also started the Winona Daily Democrat, edited the St. Anthony Democrat, established the Hutchinson Democrat, and purchased the New Ulm News. |
