Notes: Bjornson immigrated to the United States with his family in 1876. He owned and published the Minneota Mascot from 1900 to 1944. Bjornson served on the Minnesota Tax Commission from 1925 to 1935 and was chair of the Board of Tax Appeals from 1939 to 1955. He was the father of Minnesota Treasurer Val Bjornson (1951-1955, 1957-1975).
